Tour Summary:The heart and soul of Steamfest is its impressive assembly of steam trains. Book now and be part of the annual ARTC Great Train Race & take a ride on one of the many unique train trips visiting various Hunter destinations. See how things were done in days gone by at the interactive Rally Ground display, featuring a vast array of antique machinery from all over Australia.

Itinerary:
Day 1: Pickups will commence by 06:30. Through to the Newcastle Interchange to board your train going through to Maitland. Disembarking we will spend time at the Rally Ground. The coach will depart there at 14:30. Check into the Hunter Gateway Motel and dinner tonight is a 120 metre walk to The Bradford Hotel.
Day 2: Breakfast is in your room today, a supplied continental pack. Checkout and depart by 08:45. Board our train for the ARTC Great Train Race! Departing Steamfest at 13:00 homeward bound. Comfort stop at Buladelah before drop offs commence around 16:00.
