STELA (Student Environment Leadership and Action) online meeting
Event description
Looking for a safe space for your students to come together to discuss sustainability with students from all over Victoria?
ResourceSmart Schools has created a space to do just that and your school is invited!
Purpose:
ResourceSmart Schools(RSS) is committed to giving students a voice in the future of sustainability education in Victoria so RSS providers from Sustainability Victoria, Eastern Alliance for Sustainable Learning(EASL), Environment Education Victoria(EEV) and the CERES School of Nature and Climate have designed this online meeting to bring students together with their teachers to discuss sustainability.
Presenters:
This is an online event delivered live from Gippland's Lowanna College. Join Agriculture students as they talk us through their work to establish, create and extend the school food gardens.
Outcomes:
- To give students a space to share their wins and challenges in sustainability
- To support schools to connect and get inspired together
- To inform the ResourceSmart Schools program through active listening to students
This event is for ResourceSmart primary and secondary schools. If you are not an active ResourceSmart school and are interested in this workshop, please email RegionalRSS@sustainability.vic.gov.au.
