Looking for a safe space for your students to come together to discuss sustainability with students from all over Victoria?
ResourceSmart Schools has created a space to do just that, and your school is invited!
Purpose:
ResourceSmart Schools(RSS) is committed to giving students a voice in the future of sustainability education in Victoria so RSS providers from Sustainability Victoria, Eastern Alliance for Sustainable Learning (EASL), Environment Education Victoria (EEV) and the CERES School of Nature and Climate have designed this online forum to bring students together with their teachers to discuss sustainability.
Presenters:
This is an online event delivered live from Notre Dame College (NDC), Shepparton. Students will tell us how they recently hosted a student-led sustainability conference for schools within their region. We will also hear about how NDC students are growing sustainability initiatives, and inspiring others in their school.
Outcomes:
To give students a space to share their wins and challenges in sustainability
To support schools to connect and get inspired together
To inform the ResourceSmart Schools program through active listening to students
This event is for ResourceSmart primary and secondary schools. If you are not an active ResourceSmart school and are interested in this workshop, please email RegionalRSS@sustainability.vic.gov.au.
