STEM Starters: Spy Science Day

STEM Starters at Columbia University hosts free science workshops for local kids and their families in West Harlem. 

At Spy Science Day, students will solve a mystery by analyzing DNA and "blood" samples, testing fingerprints, and cracking codes using insights from cryptography! 

Content is geared toward a middle-school level science background, but all ages are welcome! Registration is free. Parents/Guardians are required to stay for the event. Please only register for 1 ticket per child, parents/guardians do not need a ticket. Attendees will rotate at their own paces between activity stations and talk with graduate student scientists as they learn.
