Three Minute Thesis (3MT®) STEM/FII Heat 2025
Event description
Join us for an exciting event where graduate researchers take on the challenge of presenting their entire thesis in just three minutes — using only one static slide and no props!
The Three Minute Thesis (3MT®) is an academic research communication competition developed by the University of Queensland (UQ), Australia. It is a fast-paced, engaging showcase of cutting-edge research, designed to make complex ideas accessible to everyone.
Attendees will be able to support our researchers, partake in afternoon tea and see what three powerful minutes can do!
The winner from the UniSA STEM/FII heat will progress to the UniSA Grand Final and perhaps beyond.
Our 2025 STEM/FII participants are:
Jaco van Rooyen: Development of nanoparticles for fluorescence guided neurosurgery
