STEM @ Tinkd: Science at home with Rebecca Prestidge

Come and join us at Tinkd Makerspace in Tauranga CBD for a hands-on STEM activity during this October school holidays! 

A fun and interactive workshop where we provide the science lab and you become the scientist and participate in different experiments with biologist and teacher Rebecca Prestidge (@science_with_miss_prestidge).

You’ll be getting hands-on and using ingredients and materials that can be found in the pantry so you can continue your scientist journey at home!

DO I NEED TO STAY WITH MY CHILD?

An adult helper must stay and work with the child, each adult helper can supervise no more than 3 children.

1pm Session

Sessions will run for approximately 1.5 hours

WHAT'S THE IDEAL AGE FOR THIS ACTIVITY?

This session is suitable for children aged 8 to 12 years old.
