STEMM Strolls - Townsville
Event description
STEMM Strolls - aiming to bring STEMM students and professionals together in regional areas. Local get togethers to find new networks, find mentors, and support groups especially in regional areas where it is hard to do so. Sharing intersecting diverse experiences from the women in STEMM community through STEMM Strolls provides an opportunity to strengthen the status of women and girls in STEMM. Bringing the community together is a step in the right direction for gender equality.
The stroll will commence and end outside Canto (near Building 506) at James Cook University. We will walk through campus and back to Canto where there will be refreshments and networking time. Bring your lunch or buy some and enjoy a chance to network.
