STEP NSW Branch invites you to a seminar with Michael Bersten, Barrister, New South Wales Bar.

Topic: The new Administrative Review Tribunal

The seminar will examine the legislative underpinnings of the recently established Administrative Review Tribunal in respect of tax litigation.
The paper will identify where the legislation:

• effectively re-enacts the arrangements for the former Administrative Appeals Tribunal;
• establishes the new Guidance and Appeals Panel; and
• resurrects the abolished Administrative Review Council.

The presentation will also comment on the emerging practice and procedure of the new Tribunal.
