Sydney SIXer Mixer: Step off the gas and stop deforestation

SIX is back with the launch of two exciting new campaigns and we want you to be the first to hear about them:

Off the back of our report ‘Step off the gas: Gas is risky business for ASX-listed companies’, we’re launching a campaign with the support of Future Super to engage with ASX-listed companies that rely on fossil gas. 

We’re also thrilled to announce that we are partnering with The Wilderness Society to run a campaign asking Woolworths to come clean on their deforestation risk.

Whether you’re already connected to the SIX team or one of our campaigns, or have literally just heard of us and are keen to learn more, this event is for you.

At this event you will: 

• Hear from SIX and our campaign partners in a short and sweet panel discussion, MCed by Adam Verwey (CEO, SIX) and featuring Mariela Powell Thomas (Gas campaign lead, SIX), Christina Hobbs (General Manager of Advocacy at Future Group), and Victoria Jack (NSW Campaigns Manager, The Wilderness Society)!

• Contribute to our ‘Actions Stations’ where you can find out how to be a part of the work that SIX, Future Super, and The Wilderness Society are doing to make change on the big issues.

• Connect with other people from a range of backgrounds who are also interested in how we use money for good!

We’ll provide drinks (alcoholic and non-alcoholic options) and pizzas for dinner with vegetarian, vegan and gluten free options. Please let us know dietary requirements in your RSVP so we're aware of them for catering.
