STEP Victoria - Tasmania Branch invites you to a seminar with Dr Philip Bender, Barrister and Nationally Accredited Mediator, List A Barristers.
Topic: Trust Variation Applications
This seminar will examine methods of amending a trust deed, with a focus on court applications and how to make them. Resettlement and trust substratum will be looked at as part of this examination. Various cases in which court applications for variations have been made will be canvassed.

SPEAKER | Dr Philip Bender
Dr Philip Bender is a barrister and mediator at the Victorian Bar. He practices in trusts, charities, and estates, taxation and superannuation, financial services law, and general commercial and property law. Philip is also a Chartered Accountant and author of Bender's Australian Stamp Duties, published by the Taxation Institute. He has acted in many charities, trusts and estates disputes, including trust variation applications, judicial advice applications, trust governance disputes, and matters involving breaches of trust. He has also acted for the Attorney-General and for revenue authorities in charities and trusts disputes.
