STEP Victoria-Tasmania Seminar | Tuesday 9 September 2025
Event description
STEP Victoria - Tasmania Branch invites you to a seminar with Thomas Caldow, Partner - Forensic Consulting & Daniel Previtera, Director and Financial Advisory Data Analytics Lead at Grant Thornton.
Topic: EPOA or executor misconduct: funds tracing is the answer
In litigating the misconduct of an EPOA or executor, it is imperative to validate (or invalidate) any suspected wrongdoing. Funds tracing is a method of financial investigation which analyses bank statements and other financial information to summarise and categorise transactions to assist in the validation of suspected or known misconduct.
This presentation draws on themes and practical insights from a real-life case study, and provides a ‘real time’ demonstration of the power of funds tracing in these types of disputes.
