Description

Kāpiti Coast singer-songwriter, Steph Casey’s, ‘10,000 Hail Marys’ EP, signals a new direction for her songwriting. It’s a marked departure from her previous acoustic guitar-based indie folk/alt country albums, both in style and instrumentation, with a gritty, overdriven guitar sound, alongside two songs beautifully composed and performed on piano.

The EP was seven years in the making. The result – her most fearless, honest release to date.

Come join Steph Casey and her amazing six-piece band on Saturday 7 November in the cosy and welcoming St Peters Village Hall, Paekakariki.

You can bring your own bevies and snacks, and settle in to experience Steph Casey and the incredible band, who will make you feel all the feels! We’ll take you on a ride from harmonies-laden indie-folk to soul-stirring piano songs, finishing with a set of overdriven guitar pop. It’s going to be a fantastic night and we hope you’ll come along for the ride with us.

If you like to shake your thing on the dance floor, you won’t be disappointed – in the second half we’ll be rocking out Steph’s new high energy grunge-pop songs, and some Blondie!

There are no CDs this time round due to cost considerations (and the waning existence of CD players), but there’ll be QR codes up around the venue so that you can easily scan and purchase the digital EP for just a few dollars. Buying the EP means you'll have a forever copy and you'll be supporting Steph to make new music.

There will be door sales.
