Join Stephen Adams and the music box project for a showing of performance scenarios and processes developed during a residency at Rex Cramphorn Performance Research Studio. This residency is a testing ground for the composition and preparation of Imaginary Radio Station, a future large-scale performance project. This project has been supported through a residency at Theatre and Performance Studies, the University of Sydney.
Stephen Adams is a composer, improvising musician, voice and sound artist with rich experience in radio production and content curation of contemporary classical and experimental music.
Sydney-based the music box project is an award-winning, artist-run collective of musicians presenting creative, community driven and collaborative music experiences. The collective consists of Jane Aubourg, Elizabeth Jigalin, Naomi Johnson, Peter Leung and Joseph Lisk. The collective has championed an interdisciplinary approach to music making and specialises in creating music experiences that incorporates elements of performance art, media, improvisation, and more.
