🔥Stepping Into Leadership Roles Intentionally

What we'll cover:

Stepping Into Leadership Roles Intentionally is an interactive masterclass for professional migrant women who are ready to move from being valued contributors to visible, intentional leaders in Australia.

Many capable women work hard, deliver consistently, and wait to be recognised. But leadership often requires a different set of choices: speaking before being asked, shaping direction rather than only executing tasks, building influence beyond technical excellence, and making deliberate trade-offs about career, identity, family, confidence, and ambition.

This session will invite participants to challenge the quiet rules they may be following:

  • Who gave me permission to lead?

  • Where am I staying small? What am I waiting to be ready for?

  • How much visibility am I willing to tolerate?

Through reflective prompts, scenario play, and practical experiments, participants will leave with clearer language, sharper self-awareness, and one intentional leadership action they can take within 30 days.

Key Session Outcomes — What You’ll Walk Away With:

  1. Where am I still operating as a contributor when leadership is required?
Participants will reflect on where they are over-relying on delivery, competence, and hard work, instead of influence, visibility, and strategic contribution.

  2. When do I wait for permission instead of stepping forward?
Participants will examine moments where they hold back because they are waiting to be invited, endorsed, promoted, or “fully ready.”

  3. What leadership identity am I willing to claim?
Participants will explore how culture, migration experience, accent, gender expectations, family responsibilities, or past professional identity may affect how they see themselves as leaders in Australia.

  4. How do I build influence without feeling inauthentic?
Participants will practise language for self-advocacy, visibility, stakeholder engagement, and contribution in meetings, without feeling they are “bragging” or pretending.

  5. How much visibility, discomfort, and trade-off am I prepared to accept?
Participants will consider the real cost of leadership, including time, exposure, criticism, ambition, boundaries, and personal choices.

At the end of the session, participants should have better understanding and awareness on where you’re at and where to focus
