Stepping into Role: Integrating TSM Psychodrama into Dramatherapy

Developed by Dr Kate Hudgins, TSM integrates psychodrama, attachment theory, and the neurobiology of trauma into a practical, strengths-based framework for working safely with emotional intensity, avoidance, and dissociation.

Throughout this action-based workshop, gain an understanding of the core principles of TSM through a combination of theory, demonstration, practice, and reflection. Experience the Mini Theatre, explore strength roles through movement, engage in role interviews, and work with embodied and creative methods that can be readily adapted for both individual and group drama therapy.

Whether you are new to TSM or looking to broaden your repertoire of action methods, this workshop offers practical tools and fresh perspectives for integrating TSM Psychodrama into your drama therapy practice. No previous experience with TSM or psychodrama is required.

BADth CPD Cancellation & Refund Policy

1. Booking Fees To ensure 100% of your ticket price supports our professional CPD programmes, a small booking fee is added at the checkout. Please note that this fee is non-refundable as it is a direct charitable contribution processed at the time of purchase.

2. Cancellations (14+ Days Notice) If you cancel your registration 14 days or more before the event date, you will receive a 100% refund of the ticket price (excluding the booking fee).

3. Cancellations (Less than 14 Days Notice) If you cancel within 14 days of the event, no monetary refunds will be issued. However, you have two flexible options:

• Transfer to a Colleague: You may transfer your ticket to another person at no extra cost.

• Credit for Future CPD: You may transfer your booking to another BADth CPD session of equal value (to be used within 6 months).

Important: To take advantage of a transfer or credit, you must contact BADth at amind@badth.org.uk at least 7 days before the event.

4. Late Cancellations (Less than 7 Days Notice) Due to fixed costs related to speaker fees and administration, any cancellations or transfer requests made less than 7 days before the event will not be eligible for a refund, credit, or transfer.

5. Event Cancellation by BADth If BADth cancels an event (e.g., due to low enrolment or speaker illness), delegates will receive a 100% refund of the ticket price (excluding the booking fee).
