Stereopurrs are embarking on a journey of self discovery, writing new original music, bringing it to the people and asking "Are we worthy?".

"Poolside and Hipster Assassins are a few of my influences" says guitarist Chris Dabinett.

Joining Stereopurrs playing up first is Ōtautahi’s traditional samba group Tupinikeen Samba Club, bringing Brazil’s vibrant rhythms to Christchurch with authentic instruments like pandeiro, tamborim and cavaquinho, fostering community, culture and celebration.
