STEVE PLATER - multi award-winning guitarist/vocalist – recognised as one of Australia's finest multi-instrumentalists and renowned for his wickedly deft slide guitar playing with expertise across a range of stringed instruments.
If you like your blues raw and dirty, with stinging slide and raspy vocals sounding like he’s seen and done it all,
then Steve Plater is just the ticket! With a music career spanning well over 3 decades, Steve has performed on the same bill as legendary acts B.B. King, Tony JoeWhite, Bob Dylan, Ray Charles, Lil Charlie and The Night Cats, along with other international headliners. Steve is also founder and director of the successful Great Southern Cigar Box Guitar Festival, which has been held in Ballarat Victoria for the past five years and has become a feature on the regional music scene.
Marion Turner – multi award winning artist, vocals and harmonica, delivers power-house vocals
in addition to being one of the country’s most vibrant harmonica players creating the magic she and Steve
performed during their many years together with Salty Dog.
