The COVID-19 global pandemic has resulted in many events around the world to be cancelled or postponed. With the ongoing Royal Commission into Aged Care Quality and Safety followed by strict lock-downs of aged care homes across the country the 2020 financial year has been the most challenging for the sector.
The annual StewartBrown Age Care Finance Forum will be an interactive event with a live screening to allow viewing from your respective location. We will also have screens set up at a Cliftons* venue in Sydney, Brisbane, Adelaide and Perth to allow for networking opportunities.
The Forum will include the presentation of the analysis from the FY20 Aged Care Financial Performance Survey for organisation, residential and home care packages; detailed review of the financial effect of COVID-19 including occupancy levels, commentary on the Royal Commission hearing “Funding, Financing and Prudential Regulation”; analysis of the proposed and likely policy initiatives; and discussion on the upcoming Federal Budget.
Grant Corderoy will be the main presenter with assistance from Stuart Hutcheon, David Sinclair and Andrew Coll. The session will also include interactive questions and responses.
