Stewpot Business & Professional Leaders Luncheon

We invite you to join us for Stewpot’s Annual Business and Professional Leaders Luncheon on Tuesday, October 20, 2026, from 11:30 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. at The Capital Club.

This year, we are pleased to welcome Javonda Stanton, Project Director for Homeward JXN, as our featured speaker. Javonda previously served as Stewpot’s Director of Shelter Services, where she provided leadership for the Opportunity Center and Stewpot’s emergency housing programs. Today, Javonda brings her experience to Homeward JXN, a new City of Jackson initiative focused on creating pathways from homelessness to stable housing and greater long-term stability. Over the next two years, Homeward JXN aims to help 300 chronically homeless individuals secure housing while strengthening the community’s response to homelessness.

Along with hearing from our distinguished guest speaker, you’ll also learn more about how Stewpot continues to meet critical needs in our community—providing food for the hungry, shelter for people experiencing homelessness, and hope for those facing housing instability. These life-changing efforts are made possible through the generosity of friends and community leaders like you.
