    Event description

La Trobe Student Theatre and Film presents...

    'The Importance of Being Earnest'

    Fri 21 April - Sat 22 April
    Menzies Theatre, La Trobe University

What do love, handbags, overbearing aunts, and cucumber sandwiches have in common?

Two gentlemen have created alter egos to escape their responsibilities. Two ladies have created imaginary romances with men named Ernest. And Lady Bracknell has completely had it with all this creativity. The Importance of Being Earnest, a Trivial Play for Serious People is a farcical comedy from the incredible wit of Oscar Wilde.
