    Event description

Join multitalented actor, soprano and stage manager, Ursula Searle, in two Spark Sessions on Acting 101 and Acting for Stage and Screen!

    Acting 101
    1-3pm, Wed 27 July

    Acting for Stage and Screen
    1-3pm, Thu 28 July

We know actors as the ones who get on stage and tell a story. But there’s so much more to acting than meets the eye.

    Acting 101
will explore the acting fundamentals, including acting craft, and dissecting a piece of text.

Acting for Stage and Screen is a continuation of Acting 101, and will explore the various ways to adapt performance styles for different audiences, whether they are many rows back in a theatre, or existing in a camera lens.

    How to register

If you'd like to take part in both workshops, select the ticket called 'Acting 101 + Acting for Stage and Screen'.

If you are new to acting and just want to give it a try, but don't want to do two workshops, select 'Acting 101'.
