Join our free beginner-friendly coding club at Osborne Library!
This program is perfect for children with little or no coding experience. Members will work through projects on the Code Club website, learning at their own pace with guidance from staff in a supportive, peer-based environment.
Coding is a fun way to solve puzzles, create games, write programmes, and make new friends. It is also an essential skill for the future—start your journey today!
Sessions run each Friday though Term 3, 3:30 PM to 4:45 PM, starting Friday 24 July
Ages: 7-12
Maximum Participants: 10
What You Will Need
- A personal laptop and mouse for each session
- Basic knowledge of how to use a laptop (e.g., navigating, typing, using a mouse)
- A Scratch account (participants must register and create one before attending)
Program Details
- Runs during school terms only
- Skills build week by week, so regular attendance is encouraged
- Bookings are essential
- Suitable for ages 7-12
