Stirling Women's Shed - Community Conversation
Event description
Stirling Women's Shed is embarking on an exciting journey to review and shape the future of the space. The voices of our current, past, and future users are crucial in this process.
The Stirling Women's Shed was officially established in February 2020 at the Scarborough Community Hub. It has since become a place where women can learn practical skills while building social connections. Previous workshops have focused on expanding skills and knowledge for women and have included; craft, minor repairs around the home, basic car maintenance, hand tool wood carving, introduction to basic drilling, make a post and rung stool, and self-defence. In partnership with the City of Stirling.
Women of all ages are invited to share your thoughts and experiences by attending our upcoming community conversation session on Monday 14 April 2025 or by completing the survey. Your feedback will help us create a vibrant and inclusive environment that meets the needs of the community.
The Shed will be open prior to the workshop for viewings from 4:30pm.
Tea, coffee and light refreshments will be provided.
