Event description

Join us for a free 90-minute online workshop to teach you the simple skill of making nutritionally dense and nourishing broth and stocks at home. In this online class, Clove’s Head of Food, Alex Elliott-Howery (Cornersmith) will teach you how to make three delicious stocks to use in your everyday winter meals.

  1. Umami rich mushroom stock for risotto, braises, noodles and dumpling soups
  2. Simple homemade chicken stock using leftover chicken bones
  3. A collagen-rich, hearty bone broth to keep the winter flues and blues at bay.

You will also learn how to make a quick vegetable based stock paste, to add to a big punch of flavour to simple soups, sauces and braises.

The recipes will be sent a few days before, and you can either choose one to cook along with Alex on the night, or just kick back with a tea or wine to take notes and ask questions.
