Stone & Chalk's International Women's Day: Thriving In A Male Dominated Tech Industry
Event description
As part of International Women’s Day, Stone & Chalk invite you to join us virtually as we unpack the stories of three successful women working in tech. Together, we will discuss what it's been like working in a male-dominated industry and why embedding gender diversity into tech culture is so important.Â
Diversity is critical in tech. It allows companies to create safer and superior products through a holistic lens that considers everyone’s needs. McKinsey found that diverse companies hire stronger talent, perform better, have more engaged employees and retain workers longer than companies that do not focus on diversity and inclusion. Despite this, women are still widely underrepresented in the tech industry and there is a long way to go to change the workplace culture, pay, employment, founder, and retention gaps.Â
Why should you attend?
