    Event description

    Men of Rock Stone Tools Workshop

    Join Duduroa Dhargal Traditional Owners & Elders Uncle Allan and Phil Murray for this men’s only stone tool workshop. In this hands on workshop explore the traditional art of knapping by making your own spear. This is a unique opportunity to learn about local traditional culture.

    All materials provided. Places are limited with a maximum booking of 2 tickets per person for this workshop, so book early to make sure you don't miss out! Age restriction of 10 years and above.

    WHERE AND WHEN: 9:30am - 3pm, Saturday  26th October, Osbornes Flat Hall, Osbornes flat

    •  Lunch and morning tea will be provided
    • Physical Fitness level required: MEDIUM ( Sitting/for a periods of 2 hours or more and strength in arms for the knapping required)

    • WHAT TO BRING:

      - Water bottle.

      - Camp chair or picnic blanket to sit on

      - Please wear comfortable clothing

      - Weather appropriate clothing, sunscreen and a hat

      - If you are unwell on the day please remain at home in consideration of the health of others

      Due to our limited funding it is difficult to cater for every dietary requirement at our events. If you have special dietary requirements please bring your own food and drink.
