Stonnington Spring Garden Tour
Event description
Join us on a very special spring garden tour of three fabulous Stonnington gardens.
A community garden in Armadale, a neighbourhood garden in Prahran, and a private garden also in Armadale.
Each of the gardens has their own style and will be showcasing one or more of the five key My Smart Garden themes - Food, Water, Shelter, Habitat and Waste!
Come to one location or, make a day of it and come to all! Learn from the people making these gardens come to life, pick up some free seeds and great information along the way.
We will be emailing you the location the day prior and we encourage you to walk, cycle or to take public transport to the gardens.
Please register for the session/s you are planning to attend:
- Neighbourhood Garden (Prahran): 10am - 11am
- Private Garden (Armadale) 11:30am - 12:30pm
- Community Garden (Armadale): 1:30pm - 2:30pm
Please note that this is an event for Naarm/Melbourne gardeners only. If you live outside this area, please contact your council to find out what free sustainable gardening events are available locally.
If you have any access or support requirements in order to participate fully (eg. interpreter), please let us know at least two weeks prior to the event and we will be pleased to assist you.
This My Smart Garden event is proudly presented by City of Stonnington on the Country of the Wurundjeri, Bunerong and Boon Wurung peoples of the Kulin nation.
