STOP THE CHOP ROAD SHOW AT GLENELG

The campaign to protect the Park Lands is heading to the electorates of Government back-benchers.

Guest speakers for this Saturday include Edwin Kemp Attrill who initiated the first legal challenge to defend the park lands along with Janette Milera, local Holdfast Bay Councillor Susan Lonie and President of the Park Lands Association Mat Monti.

After the success of the Norwood, Unley and Prospect Roadshows we are zeroing in on local Labor members Toby Priest MP (Member for Morphett), Aria Bolkus MP (Member for Colton) and Sarah Andrews MP (Member for Gibson).

They have been invited to the rally.

We will meet in the beautiful Wigley Reserve, which has good access to parking, disability access and toilets. Plus a lovely playground for those young at heart!

Musician Angela Paul will be providing some entertainmen before the rally, includng the classic hit Yellow Taxi.

The event will be followed by letters, petitions and lots of polite but firm face to face visits to ensure your local MPs understand that we want their help to Stop the Chop.
