STOP THE CHOP ROAD SHOW AT PROSPECT
St Helens Park
Prospect SA, Australia
Description
The campaign to protect the Park Lands is heading to the electorates of Government back-benchers.
After the success of the Norwood and Unley Road Shows we are zeroing in on local Labor Members Hon Lucy Hood MP (Member for Adelaide), Hon Lawrence Ben MP (Member for Enfield MP) and Ms Meagan Spencer MP (Member for Torrens). They will all be invited to the rally.
The rally will be followed by letters, petitions and lots of polite but firm face to face visits to ensure Minister Hood, Assistant Minister Lawrence Ben and Ms Megan Spencer understand that we want their help to Stop the Chop.
We will meet at St Helens Park at the Rotunda. And don't miss local singer/songwriter Loren Kate who will be performing from 12:30 to 1pm and again from 1:30pm: ideal for a family picnic!
Please REGISTER so we can ensure you are informed about any changes.
It is essential that there is ongoing pressure on local members after these events so please email David at exec@adelaide-parklands.asn.au if you can participate in a Park Lands Advocacy Circle in your electorate.
