Do you want to craft compelling interviews and vlog-style piece-to-cameras that tell powerful stories? Ready to set up a dazzling interview and piece-to-camera shot with minimal gear? Do you want to learn how to model your interview conduct to get the best testimonials? Want to build your confidence around the technical ins and outs of capturing optimal Zoom recordings and interviews?
Join us on Tuesday, May 18th for our fourth session of Stories After Dark, a series of rapid-fire evening workshops for anyone who wants to build storytelling skills to create a positive change in the world.
In this session, we will cover how we design interview questions, how we set u up interview shots and how we capture Zoom recordings and interviews. We will also practice interview conduct and learn about the simple tech that makes our work possible. 💻
What we will cover:
- Gear and tech needed to record effective interviews and vlog-style piece-to-camera.
- Designing interview questions and getting the soundbites that will build your story.
- Interview conduct to get the best stories from your interviewees.
- How to speak on screen
- Hands-on interviewing and Zoom recording practice
You are welcome to come prepared with a story idea or a story canvas or story outline if you are a previous workshop participant.
As always, we will finish with a casual 10 minute Q&A after our official end.
