Join award-winning children's author and editor Niki Foreman for an inspiring Stories & Sketches workshop that explores the magic of storytelling.

Drawing on her experience as the author of bestselling and award-winning children's books, Niki will share practical tips for generating ideas, developing characters and turning imagination into stories.

This engaging session encourages creativity, imagination and confidence in young storytellers and artists.

• Enjoy an interactive story reading with discussion and questions along the way.

• Go behind the scenes of the book-making process, including early sketches, story drafts and how books make their way to bookshops.

• Get creative with colouring, craft and playdough, including designing your own umbrella artwork and creating a collaborative display inspired by the book.

Niki Foreman is the author and co-author of numerous award-winning and bestselling children's books published in Australia, the UK and the US, including Now For The Good News, a CBCA Notable Book for 2025. An accomplished editor and advocate for neurodivergent families, Niki is passionate about helping young people find their voice through stories.
