Sonya is the Pro Vice-Chancellor of UTAS’s Cradle Coast Campus, facilitating the operation of regionally informed learning and teaching and research strategies, and leading a community of staff and students in the region.

For nearly 30 years, Sonya has had an up-close view and involvement with the life-changing potential of higher education, particularly for students in regional areas of Tasmania
