Introducing our new webinar series for 2023...

This series will feature guest educators we have invited to share an aspect of their teaching that has inspired engaged and purposeful learning.

If you're like me, I gain so much inspiration and challenge from visiting other learning spaces and talking with colleagues about learning and teaching. But it's almost impossible to have opportunities for inter-site visits in the busy life of education these days! So we want to bring this opportunity to you, by sharing stories of powerful learning from 'real' preschools and 'real' classrooms. Plus, we'll hear directly from the educators involved - what sparked this idea, how they planned, what they observed in children's learning, what worked, what didn't work.

We hope this will inspire you to take inspiration and make it your own. Not to copy anything that you see, but to contextualise it for your community and your hopes for learning and teaching.

If you can't join us in this time zone, we will email you a link to the recorded session within 24 hours. This will be 'live' for 14 days after the Chat.

    Date: Thursday, 8 June 2023
Time: 4:30 - 5:30pm (Australian Central Standard Time)
Sales end 6pm Monday 13th March - no exceptions.

    Story Play

In our first webinar, we'll hear from two educators from Ngutu College in Adelaide, South Australia, Marcia and Liz, who work with children in Years 1-3.
They'll share how their Writing Workshop was transformed into a Story Play Workshop in order to focus on oral language composition, learning dispositions and symbolic functioning.
