    Event description

    Unlock your inner storyteller!

Stories shape the world around us for better or for worse. So...what story will you tell?

Join Digital Storytellers for the first event in our new series: Stories After Dark, a series of virtual workshops open to anyone who would like to build skills for using storytelling to create impact in the world – whether for driving awareness of a cause or issue, fundraising, amplifying grassroots voices or just getting creative! Each month we’ll explore a new aspect of storytelling, from how to craft powerful stories, how to use digital technology to create stories through to how to engage audiences across various platforms. You are welcome to attend just one session, or attend all 8 and learn to make a story from start to finish!

In this session we want to help you get started identifying and crafting your impact story.

    We'll explore:

    • The Story Canvas - our methodology for brainstorming strategic, outcomes-driven stories
    • Narrative - how to craft a compelling story, from start to finish

This will be a hands-on and interactive session where you'll share your stories, connect with others and receive guidance.

These workshops are supported by the City of Sydney to dive into the storytelling tips, tools and tricks you need to be able to take action and spread the word about the causes you care about.

📣📣📣 Session 2: Storytelling for Climate Action 📣📣📣 March 23rd. In partnership with Women 4 Climate. Click here for your ticket.
