The Stormcrown Chronicles: A Call to Rule
Setting: The Fourth Era, Year 1.
The ruby throne sits empty. The death of Emperor Martin Septim during the chaos following the Oblivion Crisis has plunged the Empire into an uneasy stillness. Across Tamriel, old alliances fracture, petty kings and nobles vie for power, and provinces whisper of secession. In this hour of uncertainty, the Imperial Council, desperate to preserve unity and order, invokes an ancient and controversial rite: The Stormcrown Chronicles.
At the heart of this declaration stands High Chancellor Ocato, former advisor to Uriel Septim VII and the de facto regent of the crumbling Empire. With no heir of Dragonblood left, Ocato calls upon warriors, mages, rogues, and champions from every corner of Tamriel to compete in a grand gauntlet of trials—The Stormcrown Chronicles—a series of legendary tests, brutal arena battles, and impossible quests set across the provinces.
The Prize?
The Stormcrown, the ceremonial coronet of the Septim line, said to be blessed by the spirit of Tiber Septim himself. To wear it is to be recognized as the next Emperor—or Empress—of the Empire of Tamriel.
