Story Makers: Books & Art for Kids

Join us on Monday mornings for Story Makers! Together we will read stories, sing songs, and have lots of fun making messy and playful art.

Story Makers is best for under 5’s, but everyone is welcome. Parents and guardians stay with children please – we recommend grabbing a coffee from next door before you pop through.

TICKET INFORMATION

We recommend booking your tickets early to avoid disappointment, as the class size is kept small. If available, tickets will be sold at the counter on the day. We offer a discounted add-on ticket for siblings who would like to attend. Please purchase this add-on in addition to a full-price ticket.

Adults accompanying children do not need a ticket. Babies who are spectating are very welcome and do not require a ticket.

ABOUT OUR TEACHING ARTISTS & STORY TELLERS, HOLLY + MIM

You might meet either of our lovely teaching artists at Story Makers.

Holly loves to paint, draw, sew, knit, sculpt and carve and is always finding new mediums to try. She is a pre-service Secondary Educator who majored in Art History and Literature. Holly's favourite stories are folk and fairy tales.

Mim loves to crochet, paint and craft. She is an Early Childhood Educator who is often found running Story Time on Sundays and Book Clubs at Paper Bird. Mim loves to read junior fiction, particularly tales with heart.
