Bad Deals: A Story Sanctuary 2-Hour Playshop:
Event description
Bad Deals
A Story-Based Playshop on Worth, Exchange & Rewriting the Narrative
Overview
Some bargains cost more than gold. They cost the feeling of two feet on the ground, the warmth of honest companionship, the quiet knowing that you are already enough.
Bad Deals is a live storytelling + experiential playshop where we trace the hidden agreements that govern our giving and receiving—and ceremonially rewrite them into agreements that serve life.
What to Expect
A mythic telling of “Bad Deals,” performed by Leah Lamb, to open the field of inquiry.
Guided reflection and small-group dialogue on the deals you have inherited (spoken and unspoken).
Somatic and ritual practices that transform story from performance into ceremony.
Practical frameworks for valuing your offerings without over-giving or under-charging.
Collective blessing: we close by weaving new, life-honouring agreements for each participant to carry forward.
Who This Is For
Storytellers, coaches, change-makers, entrepreneurs, artists, and any seeker who senses they may be undervaluing their time, gifts, or presence—and wishes to enter a more reciprocal dance with the world.
Facilitator
Leah Lamb—author, performer, and founder of the School for Sacred Storytelling—guides people to engage story as a tool for healing, leadership, and sacred activism. Over the past seven years she has led more than 1,000 participants through courses that blend myth, ceremony, and modern personal development.
What to Bring
Journal, pen, and an object that symbolizes a “deal” you are ready to release or renew.
