Share amazing stories, sing songs and learn through creative play together.
This term we are exploring stories about animals, science and friends! Join us for books, songs and rhymes, and creative learning through art and play. Story Time is a wonderful place to make new friends and learn about our world together.
Story Time runs during the school term and takes a break over the holidays.

Story Time is more than a good time! We carefully create each session to help your support your child's:

- Imagination and Creativity
Useful Information
This event is for children aged 5 and under
Everyone is welcome. Physical and neurological diversity is beautiful. Please let us know if you are bringing a carer, and how we can help with sensory accommodations.
If you are sick please stay home. Join us on another day when you are feeling better.
Caregivers must remain with their children.
No sessions in the school holidays.
Children's Library Events are No Photo Zones, to protect the safety and privacy of our children.
Sensory Information
Lighting – We have overhead fluorescent lighting and will be using a projector for song lyrics.
Sounds – We will be singing together. We may clap and cheer. There will be families talking and chatting before and after. There may be musical instruments.
Participation – Children sit with their family. They can choose to sit closer to the storyteller if they like.
Tactile – We use a variety of toys and art supplies each week – including glue, dough and paint. Children can choose which activities to interact with.
Our space - We will be sitting on the ground for stories. We will be sitting or standing at low tables for activities. We have space for mobility aids.
