Event description

It’s been a year since the Strengthening Communities hui happened in December 2023 and March 2024. Over 80 organisations participated and one of the clear priorities was for practical upskilling in storytelling, especially for impact and influence.

So we are super excited to invite you to a free one-day workshop designed to help organisations like yours share powerful stories about your mahi in ways that demonstrate impact and which reach the people you want to influence.

Join us to :

  • Identify strategies to target audiences, understand what drives them, and tailor stories to inspire action and support.
  • Hear insights into Māori and Pacific perspectives on impact storytelling, honoring cultural values and strengthening connections.
  • Develop your own impact story using AI technology.
  • Enhance your impact reporting, fundraising, and advocacy, making your work more compelling and influential.

Delivered by people from a range of community organisations, local government, central government and funding bodies.

BYO laptop. This is a practical workshop best done with colleagues, so please share.

Feel free to bring pamphlets about your community or organisation to share with others.

This workshop is a partnership between Catalyse, ANCAD and Community Waitakere, made possible with funding from Auckland Council and Lotteries Community.
