Event description

Join us for a storytime with local author Amy Dua! Amy is continuing her season-based series with Woe is me… It’s Winter! which we think is perfect for a January Saturday outing with your littles.

This event is free to attend, however, it helps us in planning to receive your RSVP.

About the Book:

Did you ever wonder what the woodland animals do when the cold winds start to blow and the snow begins to fall? Do they hibernate? Do they frolic in the snow? Woe is Me Find out in this fun and informative book about what animals, insects, and even humans do when the ground begins to freeze, the snow starts to fall, and winter arrives. You will learn interesting facts about each of the different animals and insects, as well as, about the weather in the different seasons, along with the work that some animals, insects and humans have to do during that season to carry on the cycle of life. With colorful illustrations and fun, educational rhymes, this is the perfect book for children 2-9 years old.

As this book is full of real life information, it is also a great addition to any preschool, elementary or homeschool library. It contains information about snails, mice, foxes, owls, beavers and humans. Learn some interesting facts about the animals we see every day.

Enjoy time reading with the little one in your life with this charming educational book all about what the wintertime brings.

Be sure to also check out Woe is Me...It's Autumn, and Woe is Me...It's Spring, the other books in the Woe is Me: The Seasons Series.
