Storytime with Grandma Rosie 2024
Event description
Join Grandma Rosie for Storytime under our beautiful trees and experience the magic of Perth City Farm. Rosie and friends will read a story, lead us in song, share her wisdom and we'll go on an adventure together; to meet the chickens, smell some herbs &Â flowers or explore this beautiful oasis.Â
Grandma Rosie was one of the founding members of this beautiful place called Perth City Farm. For 30 years Rosie has been working her magic to create this beautiful haven in the middle of a bustling city.
This is a community event we create together, and a caregiver must be in attendance at all times so please do not drop your children off and leave.Â
The regular Storytime happens on the second Wednesday of the month from 9.30 - 10.30 am. It is designed for children aged 0-5 years old.Â
In the school holidays we run an expanded program for children aged 0-11, so siblings can join in. These sessions run 9.30 - 11.30 am and includes morning tea.
Registrations are essential (via this Humanitix platform) as space is limited.
At Perth City Farm, we are kind to each other, ourselves and the Earth. We welcome and include all; inviting visitors to pause and reconnect with themselves, others, nature and spirit.
- GETTING HERE -Â
Although there is paid City of Perth parking around the area, it can get very busy during standard working hours. The easiest way to get to Perth City Farm is via public transport. We are just down the steps from Claisebrook Train Station, and the Yellow CAT bus stops just out the front.
