Mudflat Recordings and Sounds of Sirius proudly present the third edition of Straight Out the Mud — this time welcoming Mihai Pol (Romania) for his Aotearoa debut.

A key figure in the Romanian minimal movement, Mihai Pol is known for his warm, rolling grooves and deep, emotive DJ sets. With releases on respected labels like Griffith, Telum, and Duboka Records, he’s spent the past decade refining a sound that moves dancefloors with subtlety and soul.

This will be an intimate winter session at The Hut — stripped-back, immersive, and guided by sound.
