Event description

Join us on Wednesday 26 March at 7pm AEDT for our inaugural Straight to the People public online event.

Straight to the People is a series of online discussions which will bring federal candidates in the 2025 election directly to the people.

Our first candidates to be featured are Senator Gerard Rennick, and Craig Kelly, and spokespeople from the Australian Medical Professionals' Society, the Australian Recreation Union, and The People's Revolution will be asking the questions.

A little bit about our candidates;

Senator Gerard Rennick - is passionate about sustainable land management and protecting our biodiversity, building sovereign infrastructure, and ensuring governments deliver essential services. He does not believe the government should be involved in people’s personal lives. As a Senate candidate for People First, he is committed to restoring economic sovereignty, cutting wasteful spending, and putting Australians and their families first. Gerard is a happily married father of three children.

Craig Kelly - Craig Kelly is the lead Senate candidate for the Libertarian Party in NSW. Craig served four terms as the member for Hughes and has been an outspoken advocate for Libertarian issues over his career. He has consistently stood against COVID tyranny, medical segregation, climate alarmism, censorship, and government debt, often in the face of intense opposition. Prior to politics he operated a furniture export business and played first grade rugby.

Our host for the evening is Joel Jammal - Head of Turning Point Australia, independent journalist, commentator & host of The Ark Podcast.

Aligned Council of Australia co-panellist group members;

  1. Red Union – Red Union provides choice in representation for tens of thousands of frontline professionals, such as teachers and nurses. These people now have the ability to access protection without supporting partisan party politics. Red Union also has AMPS, Australian Medical Professionals’ Society, which took a stand against the coercive actions of regulatory bodies during COVID. 13 Associations, including AMPS (Australian Medical Professionals’ Society), over 20,000 Members
  2. Australian Recreation Union - (ARU) was founded by a dedicated group of former state members of the Shooters Union, unified by a shared love for outdoor recreation and a profound commitment to protecting these freedoms for future generations. They understand the joy, the peace, and the thrill that outdoor pursuits bring to our lives—and they’re here to make sure that continues, unchallenged, across our nation.
  3. The People's Revolution is a grassroots movement that was borne out of necessity, The People’s Revolution (TPR) started in Brisbane on Saturday 30 May 2020 when gatherings in public had just become illegal.

    The principal activity of TPR is holding rallies with a street march, averaging every two months, or as otherwise needed in response to current developments.  The timing of these is in conjunction with the worldwide freedom movement of which TPR is a member. The rallies serve as an opportunity to bring speakers and information which people will not otherwise hear via the legacy media. Attendees are also bolstered by the knowledge that they are not alone and that many others in the community are with them. TPR has held over 50 rallies to date and has an exemplary working relationship with the Queensland Police.
