Strange Birds in Paradise
Event description
On the 28th of July at 5pm, Papua Merdeka Magan-djin will be hosting a Film Screening and Fundraiser at echo & bounce to raise money for food and bedding supplies for the people in Puncak Jaya region in West Papua, which is currently experiencing military assault. The funds will be raised VIA clothing auction, the garments are up-cycled clothing and materials produced by members of the community.
The film screening will be Strange Birds in Paradise and there will be a discussion panel with special guests.
The auction and panel will be hosted by Mel Ree.
Door sales will go toward venue hire.
