Strategies to address confronting behaviours in schools- from a place of skill (evening session)
Online Event
Description
Together for Humanity are pleased to partner with Elevate Educators (Lisa, Educator and Lianne, Clinical Psychologist) to deliver a one-hour webinar that explores the challenges in responding to triggering behaviours from a place of skill rather than emotion. Leave with practical strategies that you can implement immediately in your classroom.
Consider:
- What happens in a person’s brain when they are triggered – recognising signs and how this impacts on the ability to respond well when triggered
- Practical strategies that will enable you to respond from a place of skill rather than emotion when confronting behaviour (including racism and prejudice)
- Additional resources to support wellbeing and intercultural understanding
