Strategies to successfully navigate peer review in academic journals
Event description
Convened by Associate Professor Nick Hopwood, this online workshop focuses on two key moments in the peer review process where authors often miss opportunities to shape decision-making: reading and responding to reviewers’ comments; and writing back to editors when you resubmit. We will look at real examples of reviews and letters, and work through strategies that enhance author’s influence and agency in the peer review process, so your work is published with your authority and integrity intact.
this workshop will be relevant to researchers across all disciplines and with a range of publishing experience – those poised to submit their first article, through to those with multiple publications wanting to up their game.
