Street Jam UK — Bournemouth's Home of Dance Battle Culture
Since 2009, Street Jam UK has been the South Coast's most electric celebration of dance culture — a community-built battle event where dancers of every style, background, age, and size come together under one roof to move, connect, and compete.
This is where breaking meets popping, contemporary meets afro, krump meets waacking — where every style collides on one floor in the best possible way. Whether you're stepping up to battle, jumping into the open floor jam, or just here to soak up the atmosphere, you're joining a community built on respect, creativity, and pure love for the culture. No ego, no barriers — just rhythm, skill, and the crowd behind you.
This year, we're putting real money on the floor. Come show what you've got and battle for your share of the prize pot:
1v1 Under 15s — winner takes £150
1v1 Over 15s — winner takes £200
2v2 All Ages Hip Hop & R&B — winning duo takes £400

Behind every great battle is a panel that knows the culture inside out. Judging Street Jam UK this year: Cynthia, Bgirl Terra, and Diggy — three sharp eyes on technique, style, and stage presence, ready to crown the winners on skill alone.
Keeping the energy up and the battles moving, your host for the day is D-Lo Bear.
And holding down the sound all day, Ty the Tytan and The Lioness on the decks — setting the beats that'll have the floor moving between every round.

1vs1 Under 15s - All Styles
This is an open-format 1vs1 battle for under-15s — any style, any flavor, just bring your best moves and show the judges what you've got. Win and take home £150.
1vs1 Over 15s - All Styles
This is a no-holds-barred, all-styles 1vs1 battle for over-15s — bring your technique, your originality, and your stage presence, because the judges will be watching for all three. Come through and battle your way to the top for £200.
2vs2 All Ages - All Styles
Grab your partner and get ready to battle as one. This all-styles, all-ages 2vs2 is about chemistry as much as skill — two dancers, one shared energy, going head-to-head against every other crew on the floor to the best of Hip Hop and R&B. Winning pair takes home £400

- Is there a local train station?
Yes, Bournemouth train station is a 10 minute walk to the venue.
- Is there parking available at the venue?
Unfortunately not, there is no direct parking for the venue, but there is plenty of on road parking or local car parks in the area.
