• What time should I arrive?

  As early as you can! Streetlights isn't just about the last few hours. We're counting down the Top 100 songs voted for by YOU, from #100 all the way to #1.

  The music, the memories and the good times start from the very beginning. Get in early, grab a drink, find your people and enjoy the whole journey!

• Is Streetlights an outdoor event?

  Yes! Streetlights is all about enjoying the music we love in a beautiful outdoor festival atmosphere on New Year's Day.

  There's plenty of shade throughout the venue, along with seating and areas to relax between your favourite tunes.

  Dress for the Melbourne summer, bring your dancing shoes and get ready for a proper New Year's Day session!

• Can I bring my kids?

  Streetlights is a festival celebrating the music we grew up with, and we know some of you now have teenagers who love the same tunes!

  We're welcoming teenagers aged 13–17, accompanied by a parent or legal guardian, until 5pm.

  After 5pm, Streetlights becomes an 18+ event.

• Do teenagers need their own ticket?

  Yes! We have a specially priced Teen Ticket for ages 13–17, so the next generation can experience a little of the music that made us who we are.

  All teenagers must attend with a parent or legal guardian and leave the venue by 5pm.

• What do VIP tickets include?

  Want to make your Streetlights experience a little extra special? Our VIP tickets come with a few added perks to make your New Year's Day even better!

  Your VIP ticket includes:

• What kind of music will you be playing?

  Everything that made the mid-90s to mid-2000s unforgettable!

  Think pop, dance, trance, R&B and alternative and those absolute guilty pleasures you still know every word to.

  No musical snobbery here. If it was part of our soundtrack growing up, it belongs at Streetlights!

• Will the DJs play the songs in voting order?

  Absolutely! The Streetlights Top 100 will count down throughout the event, starting at #100 and building all the way to the number one song.

  Our DJs will take you through the soundtrack of a generation, with Dark Sin and Peter Apostle bringing it home with one massive Top 50 set.

  Which song will take out #1? That's up to you!

• Can I leave and come back?

  Pass-outs are subject to venue conditions and capacity on the day. Please check with our friendly gate staff before leaving to confirm re-entry arrangements.

• How does the Top 100 voting work?

  This is where Streetlights gets really special!

  YOU help create the soundtrack to the festival. Head to https://streetlightsfestival.com.au/vote, choose your favourite tracks from the mid-90s to mid-2000s and cast your votes.

  We'll tally the votes to create the official Streetlights Top 100, played live at the festival in one massive countdown.

• What happens if it rains?

  Streetlights is planned to go ahead rain or shine, provided conditions are safe.

  We'll keep ticket holders updated if weather conditions affect the event. Please dress appropriately for the forecast.

• Will there be food and drinks available?

  Absolutely! What's a New Year's Day festival without a cold drink and something delicious to eat?

  There'll be a pizza truck at the venue serving up food throughout the event, along with two dedicated bar areas to keep the drinks flowing.

  Good food, cold drinks and the soundtrack of your youth. We've got the essentials covered!

• Will there be seating available?

  Absolutely! We know not everyone wants to spend the entire day on the dancefloor (although we fully support those who do!).

  Seating is available throughout the venue for all ticket holders, so there'll be plenty of opportunities to sit back, catch up with friends and enjoy the music between dancefloor sessions.

• Is the venue accessible?

  Yes! We want Streetlights to be a welcoming and enjoyable experience for everyone.

  The venue offers step-free access for visitors and has an accessible toilet available.

  If you have specific accessibility requirements, please get in touch with us before the event so we can help you plan your visit.

• Can I buy tickets at the door?

  If tickets are still available, we may offer door sales on the day. However, we strongly recommend securing your tickets in advance.

  We're working towards one big New Year's Day celebration, and we'd hate for you to miss out because you left it until the last minute!
