StreetPass Bonfire at Promontory Point

Our signature event is StreetPass Bonfire at Promontory Point on September 27 Sunday 09/27/2026 4:00-8:00 pm!

This public event will be hosted the last Sunday of every month until mid-fall

Bring your Game Boy, DS, PSP, or other portable game consoles in this lush outdoor environment. Rather than playing by yourself in your room, “Why not play with friends where you can see both the Chicago and Indiana skyline?”

Parking:

Free street parking along South Shore Drive

Paid parking lot that closes at 10 pm

Accessibility:

Requires a 15 minute walk on a paved path from the parking lot to the fire pit

A large stone ring is around the campfire to sit

Notes:

Leave the fire pit better than we found it

Feel free to bring snacks and non-alcoholic drinks

Clean up all trash before leaving the park

Some trash bags provided
