Streets of our Town - Summer Songwriters Residency

John Drake, frontman of UK Top 30 band The Dust Coda, and ARIA Award-winning artist Tyrone Noonan share a rich creative history. Though both hail from Queensland, their first meeting took place in the vibrant arts scene of North London during the late 2000s. It was there, in an artist's warehouse, that they co-wrote “On My Knees”, a track that would later feature as the second single on Noonan’s acclaimed 2020 album “Utopia?”, which earned Rolling Stone's Record of the Week. 

Now reunited in Brisbane, the duo is set to co-host a highly anticipated summer songwriters' residency at It's Still A Secret, kicking off on November 7. The evening promises to showcase career-spanning highlights from both artists' extensive catalogues, along with exciting new material. For the first time ever, Tyrone and John will share the stage in a collaborative performance, while also delivering individual sets. Stay tuned for special guest appearances and supporting acts.
